Two: Spoon the mixture into the air fryer basket and air fry for 15-17 minutes, shaking often to ensure even cooking.

Three: Test the chicken with a meat thermometer to make sure it has reached 75 C (165 F).

    Top Tips

    • Ensure the chicken and vegetables are not too overcrowded in your air fryer basket. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook the fajitas in two batches or half the recipe.
    • Save time and use a store-bought fajita seasoning mix (1 standard sachet) instead of making your own.
    • If you have time, marinate the chicken and vegetables in the fajita spice mix for an hour before air frying. Or even better, mix everything together the night before and store it in the fridge until ready to cook!

    🍴 Serving suggestions

Serve the air fryer chicken fajitas with flour tortillas, rice, grated cheese, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and lime wedges!

    🥡 Storage

Store - Air fryer fajitas are best eaten fresh, straight out of the air fryer. Leftovers can be sorted in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Reheat - Microwave or air fry until piping hot.

Freeze - The cooked fajitas can be frozen for up to 3 months. Defrost in the fridge before reheating.
