🔪 Instructions
The recipe card with ingredient quantities and detailed instructions can be found at the bottom of the post
One: Unroll the croissant dough and cut it into triangles along the marked lines.
Two: Take a creme egg and place at the long side of the triangle and roll up. Continue with the other creme eggs then place them all on a plate.
Three: Brush the creme egg croissants with the beaten egg.
Four: Air fry at 200C (400F) for 5 minutes until golden. Allow the pastries to cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Top Tips
- Ensure that the creme eggs have been frozen for at least 2 hours prior to using them in the recipe. This helps them to hold their shape and not ooze out of the dough whilst in the air fryer.
- If you can't get hold of croissant dough, you can also try the recipe with ready-rolled puff pastry, cut into triangles.
🍴 Serving suggestions
Serve the air fryer creme egg croissants for an Easter-themed brunch with fresh berries and coffee.
They also make a tasty chocolate dessert with some mini egg ice cream on the side!

- For a fun twist, try adding a small spoonful of raspberry jam or peanut butter to the croissant dough before adding the Cadbury Creme Egg.
- You can also try using different flavors of Cadbury Eggs, such as caramel or white chocolate creme egg.
- Top with a drizzle of chocolate syrup or melted chocolate for an extra chocolatey treat. You could also dust over some icing sugar before serving.

❓ Frequently asked questions
Yes, you can definitely use homemade croissant dough if you prefer. Just make sure it's rolled out and cut into triangles as directed in the recipe.
These croissants are best eaten fresh, but you can prepare them ahead of time and store them in the fridge for up to 24 hours before air frying. The creme eggs will thaw so they may be gooier in the middle.
Yes, you can freeze these croissants before air frying them. To freeze, place the unbaked croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze until solid. Once frozen, transfer the croissants to a freezer-safe container or bag and store them in the freezer for up to 3 months. When you're ready to bake, allow the croissants to defrost in the fridge and then air fry as directed in the recipe.
The croissants should be golden brown and crispy on the outside, and the Cadbury Creme Egg filling should be melted and gooey on the inside. The cooking time may vary depending on the air fryer you're using, so keep an eye on the croissants and adjust the cooking time as needed.
