🛒 Key Ingredients
A full ingredients list along with Metric and US Customary measurements, can be found in the recipe card at the end of this post.

Mini Eggs - You'll need 150g Cadbury Mini Eggs, plus extra for topping, chopped or crushed into smaller pieces; substitute with other chocolate eggs or candy-coated chocolates if needed.
Butter - Unsalted butter, melted in the microwave, or use salted butter and reduce the added salt.
Sugars - A mix of light brown sugar and caster sugar (superfine sugar) for the best texture, or swap caster sugar for granulated sugar or use all brown sugar for a richer flavour.
Egg - 1 large egg at room temperature to help it mix evenly into the batter.
Vanilla Extract - Use good-quality vanilla extract rather than essence, or substitute with vanilla bean paste for a stronger flavour.
Flour - White plain flour (all-purpose flour), or use self-raising flour and omit the bicarbonate of soda.
Bicarbonate of Soda - The raising agent (baking soda), which can be omitted if using self-raising flour.
Salt - A pinch of sea salt to balance the sweetness, optional but recommended.

📖 Variations
- Use mini creme eggs instead of mini eggs. Freeze the mini creme eggs before using them in the recipe to prevent them from melting completely into the dough when cooked.
- Add a handful of dark chocolate chips to the mixture for a richer flavour.
- Swap out 30g of flour for cocoa powder for a more chocolatey taste.
🔪 How to make air fryer mini egg dessert pots
One: Preheat the air fryer to 160°C (320°F).
Two: In a mixing bowl beat together the melted butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla extract with a wooden spoon.
Three: Mix in the plain flour, bicarbonate of soda, and salt.
Four: Fold through the crushed mini eggs and divide the mixture between 4 ramekins.
Five: Air fry for 7-8 minutes until the top is golden but the underneath is still gooey. Allow the pots to cool for 5 minutes before serving with ice cream and more mini eggs. Use oven gloves to lift the ramekins out of the air fryer as they will be very hot!

Top Tip
The cookie dough mixture should come away easily from the sides of the mixing bowl. If it's still a little sticky, add a bit more flour.
🍴 Serving suggestions
Serve the air fryer mini egg desserts with ice cream. Honeycomb ice cream, mini egg ice cream, and salted caramel ice cream all work well. As does regular vanilla ice cream or clotted cream!

Storage
Store - The air fryer mini egg pots are best eaten straight out of the air fryer with a scoop of ice cream. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Reheat - Reheat in the air fryer or microwave.
Freeze - Freeze the unbaked cookie dough mixture in the individual ramekins. Defrost in the fridge before air frying as directed in the recipe.

❓ Frequently asked questions
Use a rolling pin to bash the mini eggs in their packets. Be careful that the packet doesn't split though!
