    🛒 Ingredients

    Ingredients for mini egg mars bar slices.

    🔪 Instructions

    Chopped mars bars and butter in a pan.

    One: Place the chopped mars bars and butter in a pan and melt on a low heat.

    Rice krispies and mini eggs in a pan.

    Two: Take the pan off the heat and stir in the Rice Krispies and mini eggs.

    Three: Press the mixture into a 20cm lined tin. Press down with the back of a heavy metal spoon.

    Four: Melt the dark chocolate and milk chocolate in microwave in 30 second bursts, stirring in between. Pour the melted chocolate on top of the Mars Bar slice then sprinkle over chopped mini eggs. Allow to set for at least 3 hours before cutting into squares.

    Top Tips

    • Line the tin to prevent the Mars Bar Slice from sticking.
    • Allow to set for at least 3 hours, but preferably overnight.
    • Add a drop of vegetable oil to the chocolate topping to prevent it from cracking when cut.

    Equipment

    • 20 cm (8'') Square Baking Tin

    Ingredients

    Metric - US Customary
    • 450 g Mars Bars chopped
    • 180 g Butter
    • 160 g Rice Krispies
    • 50 g Mini Eggs chopped

    For the topping

    • 100 g Milk Chocolate broken into pieces
    • 100 g Dark Chocolate broken into pieces
    • 150 g Mini Eggs chopped

    Instructions

    • Line a 20cm baking tin with baking paper.
    • Place the chopped mars bars and butter in a pan and melt on a low heat.
      450 g Mars Bars, 180 g Butter
    • Take the pan off the heat and stir in the Rice Krispies and mini eggs.
      160 g Rice Krispies, 50 g Mini Eggs
    • Press the mixture into the tin. Press down with the back of a heavy metal spoon.
    • Melt the dark chocolate and milk chocolate in microwave in 30 second bursts, stirring in between. Pour the melted chocolate on top of the Mars Bar slice, then sprinkle over chopped mini eggs. Allow to set for at least 3 hours before cutting into squares.
      100 g Milk Chocolate, 100 g Dark Chocolate, 150 g Mini Eggs
