🛒 Ingredient notes
Weetabix - A popular whole-grain wheat cereal that's been around since the 1930s. It's low in sugar and high in fibre and protein.
Milk - You can use regular semi-skimmed milk or swap it out for non-dairy options like oat milk or almond milk. Milk is a good source of calcium and vitamin D, which are important for bone health.
Yogurt - A great source of protein, probiotics, and calcium. You can use plain natural yogurt or Greek yogurt, depending on your preference. If you prefer a sweeter yogurt, you can use a flavoured variety.
Maple Syrup - A natural sweetener that adds a delicious flavour to the yogurt. If you prefer, you can swap it for honey or leave it out altogether if you want to reduce the sugar content.
Vanilla - Adding a drop of good-quality vanilla extract to the plain yogurt can enhance the flavour. Cinnamon is also a great option if you want to add some warmth and spice.
Biscoff Spread - A popular European biscuit spread that's made with cinnamon and brown sugar. The smooth Biscoff spread used in this recipe has a creamy texture and a sweet, slightly spiced flavour. Swap with Nutella if you prefer.
Toppings - Sliced banana, chocolate chips, and crushed Biscoff biscuits are used in this recipe, but you can customise the toppings based on your own preferences. Other popular options include fresh berries, nuts, seeds, or granola.

📖 Variations
There are lots of ways to vary the flavours;

- Nutella and Peanut Butter: Add a swirl of Nutella or peanut butter to the yogurt layer and top with sliced banana.
- Crunchy Granola: Instead of chocolate chips, top the Weetabix with peanut butter granola or chopped nuts like walnuts or pecans. Pumpin seeds and chia seeds could also be added.
- Sugar-Free: Leave out the maple syrup or honey to make a sugar-free version, perfect for those on a low-sugar diet.
- High-Protein: Mix in a scoop of protein powder with the Weetabix and milk to up the protein content.
