Instructions
Wash and dry the apples. Then, use a sharp knife to quarter the green apples and slice off the core and seeds from each quarter.
3 Green Apples
Cut a v-shape into the centre of each apple quarter to create the monster's mouth. Repeat this process for all three apples.
Spread a layer of Biscoff spread into the mouths.
2 tbsp Biscoff Spread
Press 4 pumpkin seeds into the top of the mouth to form the monsters teeth.
48 Pumpkin Seeds
Place a triangular piece of sliced strawberry into each mouth to form the tongue.
3 Strawberries
Secure the edible eyes (or raisins) with a little Biscoff spread.
24 Edible Candy Eyes
Serve immediately or cover and chill in the fridge.
Notes
Makes 12 apple monsters: allow 2 per serving.
An adult should prepare the apples and cut the mouths.
Smooth peanut butter or sunflower seed butter can replace the Biscoff.
Raisins or chocolate chips can replace the edible eyes.
For the best appearance and texture, assemble shortly before serving.
Store covered in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Freezing isn’t recommended.
