Notes

Top Tips:
  • Speed up the chilling process by placing the baking tin in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  • Crush the digestive biscuits by placing them in a plastic bag and bashing them with a rolling pin. I like a few larger pieces of biscuit left in my tiffin, so don't go mad!
  • Chop the chocolate into small pieces before melting it with the butter and syrup to ensure it melts quickly.
  • Stock up on Terry's chocolate oranges when they are cheaper, usually just before Christmas.

Variations:
  • Transform it into Chocolate Orange Rocky Road by adding 2 handfuls of mini marshmallows.
  • Grate in the zest of 1 orange and add a handful of dried cranberries for a fruity hit.
  • Add chopped pecan nuts for crunch and texture.
  • Drizzle white chocolate over the top of chilled tiffin and allow to set before cutting into bars.

Storage:
The tiffin will keep for 5 days in an airtight container in the fridge. It can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
