These healthy baked carrot fries, or carrot chips as they are more commonly known in the UK, are a delicious side dish, but could also be served as a tasty and nutritious after school snack for kids, with dips like hummus or homemade ketchup!
Preheat the oven to 200°c (180 fan/ 400F/ Gas 6)). Peel and cut your carrots into batons and place in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix together the cornflour, oil and seasonings, then pour over the carrots. Use a spoon to make sure all the carrots are coated.
Spread onto a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 35 minutes. Give them a shake half way through cooking to ensure all sides of the carrot are cooked and crispy.
